I first discovered Circa 39 through the MDGLCC’s Maximizing Your Membership Orientation, and not long after, they hosted one of the Chamber’s Hospitality Council Meetings. As Co-Chair Ambassador, I couldn’t resist checking it out in person — and I’m glad I did.
Located at 3900 Collins Avenue, just steps from the sand, Circa 39 is a charming boutique hotel that captures the soul of Miami Beach. Its art deco façade, relaxed vibe, and welcoming energy make it a peaceful escape right in the middle of the city’s buzz.
What I love most about Circa 39 is its mix of local warmth and global spirit. It’s close to everything — from South Beach and Lincoln Road to Wynwood and the Design District — yet it feels like your own quiet corner of paradise.
The WunderGarden — Circa 39’s Hidden Oasis
One of the hotel’s most enchanting spots is the WunderGarden, a lush courtyard filled with palm trees and tropical plants. It’s perfect for a morning coffee, a yoga class, or even one of their rum parties. This little green haven captures the laid-back, bohemian side of Miami that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile.
A Blend of Old and New
Circa 39 is currently in the middle of a renovation, meaning guests can experience both its original tropical charm and its sleek, newly updated rooms. Whether you prefer colorful vintage touches or minimalist comfort, there’s a space here that feels just right.
Community, Connection & Good Vibes
The Hospitality Council event at Circa 39 reminded me why I love being part of the MDGLCC — it’s about community, inclusion, and celebrating the people who make Miami’s hospitality scene so unique. Circa 39 embodies all that: friendly service, beautiful design, and a genuine sense of belonging.
If you’re looking for a boutique hotel that mixes Miami’s energy with true relaxation, this is the place to be.
